How the links work here
- Every Amazon link is a plain, visible URL with the tracking tag in it. Hover any button and you can read exactly where it goes.
- No redirect pages, no cloaking, no link shorteners, and no scripts that rewrite a link after you click it.
- All affiliate links carry
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"and open in a new tab. - If a link is not an affiliate link — a manufacturer's documentation, for example — it is a normal link and earns nothing.
What commission does not buy
Commission rates differ between product categories, which creates an obvious incentive to push whatever pays most. Here is how that is handled: rankings are decided before links are added, on the criteria set out on the about page — material coverage, what is in the box, software freedom and model generation. A machine's commission rate is not one of those criteria and never enters the decision.
No brand has paid for a position on this site. If a manufacturer ever supplies a machine for review, that will be stated at the top of the page concerned, in the same type size as the rest of the text.
Images
The machine images on this site are flat illustrations generated for the site. They are not product photographs and they are not taken from Amazon or from manufacturers. Amazon's terms do not permit storing product images, so this site does not store them — illustrations are used instead, and every page says so.
